Climate Impact
PLUM project significantly contributes to climate mitigation by protecting and restoring peatland and mangrove ecosystems in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.
These activities reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance carbon sequestration, generating high-integrity carbon credits over a 60-year project lifetime.

Restoration of critical ecosystems (Biodiversity)
The PLUM Project is home to over 400 species and 35 IUCN Red List species, including the Bornean orangutan, proboscis monkey, and Bornean white-bearded gibbon.
Through forest protection patrols, biodiversity monitoring, and ecosystem restoration, the project safeguards critical habitats and improves ecosystem connectivity, helping protect some of the region’s most vulnerable wildlife.
